Shred One KC will be on site to collect paper materials to be safely and securely shred and recycled at their facility such as:

  • Bank and credit card statements
  • Tax records
  • Bills and invoices
  • Duplicate checks


Synetic Technologies will be on site to collect computer hard drives and other electronics. Restrictions and fees apply. See below for guidelines.



IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

Paper shredding provided by Shred One KC

Each customer may bring up to 7 standard-size storage boxes.

Paper materials in paper grocery sacks can be accepted as recyclable. The following items are NOT acceptable: CDs/DVDs, plastic materials, metal objects, and wet or moldy paper. Staples and paperclips are okay.


Hard drive destruction and electronics recycling provided by Synetic Technologies

Hard drives will be collected for free by Synetic Technologies at the event, and destruction will take place at their facility. For added assurance, customers can elect to have their hard drive destroyed during the event for a $5 fee. The destruction process renders the hard drive breach-proof in accordance with the National Association for Information Destruction.

Electronic items, excluding televisions and monitors, are to be accepted at no charge. *Fees for recycling televisions are: $20 for tube televisions and $25 for wooden console and DLP-rear projection televisions. Computer monitors will be $15. (Credit cards will be accepted)

  • toaster ovens
  • microwaves
